01Our mission

Online, every business can call itself trustworthy. We make the difference between a claim and a checked fact visible.

    We verify facts by hand against official public sources and documentary evidence.

    We publish exactly what we checked — fact by fact, with dates — and say plainly what we did not.

    We keep every record up to date. Expired, suspended and revoked are shown as such, the same day.

02Independence

Money and decisions never meet.

Companies pay an annual administration fee of €3,000 excl. VAT for verification. It pays for the work, not the outcome. You receive an invoice from MeritVeri: there is no payment step on the website, and the verification file has no payment field, no paid status and no paid shortcut.

    A company that does not pass the checks is not verified, whatever was paid.

    Award placements and rankings can never be bought — not a rank, not a better one.

    No company can pay for the removal of a review, its own or a competitor's.

03Who checks

A person, not an algorithm.

Verification is done by hand by MeritVeri itself. Not outsourced, not automated. Software keeps the records and the history; a person does the checking and makes the decision.

04Principles

Six rules behind every decision.

  1. Manual decisions

    Verifications, award rankings and review moderation are decided by people, never by an algorithm alone.

  2. No paid outcomes

    No company can pay for a verification outcome, an award placement, a better rank, or the removal of a review.

  3. Transparent methods

    Our verification methodology, award methodology and review policy are public, and dated.

  4. Truthful status

    Expired, suspended and revoked records are shown as such. A badge never looks valid when it is not.

  5. Privacy by design

    We collect only what we need, set no tracking cookies and never publish private evidence. Companies can hide names and exact amounts.

  6. Made for the Benelux

    Four languages, and the official registers of each country.
