  1. Identity

    Legal name and form, enterprise number, VAT number, registered address and website — compared with the official register of the country and with what the website itself publishes.

  2. Workforce

    The number of employees, as an exact figure with the date it refers to — for example 47 FTE · 31 Dec 2025. No ranges, no “50+”.

  3. People

    The CEO or managing director, the owners and shareholders, and the board of directors, by name. Each shareholder's percentage is shown; holdings below 5% are grouped as “Other shareholders”.

    Your choice: names are hidden by default. You can publish them once the people concerned have been informed. Hidden names are still shown as verified, but blurred. The percentages stay public.

  4. Financials, always included

    The last five financial years: revenue, net result, equity, gross margin and EBITDA, each marked as verified — plus a public Profit, Loss or Break-even label for every year.

    Your choice: hide the exact amounts. The Profit, Loss or Break-even label stays public.

All three show the current status. If a verification expires or is suspended, they say so — on the same day.

03Administration fee

One fee. It pays for the work, not the outcome.

An annual administration fee of €3,000 excl. VAT covers the verification work. It pays for the work, not the outcome: a company that does not pass the checks is not verified.

  • Invoiced by MeritVeri. You receive an invoice from MeritVeri. There is no payment step on the website.
  • If the checks are not passed. The fee covers the work done. You can apply again once the issue is resolved.
  • Same checks for everyone. Payment never influences a verification outcome, an award placement or a ranking.

04Process

From application to record, then 12 months of validity.

How long the check takes depends on your file: complete documents make it faster. The validity period starts on the day the record is issued.

    Apply

    A representative with a verified MeritVeri account submits the company details and supporting documents. Documents stay private.

  2. 02

    MeritVeri checks

    MeritVeri compares every fact with official public sources and the documents you provided.

  3. 03

    Questions, if needed

    If something is missing or unclear, we ask in the application thread. You reply and add documents there.

  4. 04

    A person decides

    Approved or refused, always with the reason recorded. Software never decides on its own.

  5. 05

    Record issued

    Reference, record page, live badge and certificate — day one of 12 months.

  6. 06

    Renew

    Reminders 60, 30 and 7 days before expiry. A renewal before expiry continues from the end of the current period.
